NEW INNOVATIVE KENKENI DESIGN

REVOLUTIONIZES AFRICAN DRUM INDUSTRY

What looks like an overweight Nigerian Talking Drum trapped inside a black cord Dun Djun Prison??  A Swervy Kurvy Kenkeni, that’s what!

The Swervy Kurvy Kenkeni is 11” x 17” and is an original design manufactured by an upstart African drum company called SenegalStyleDjembes.
What inspired this design innovation that is rocking the dull and drab djun djun world?  A female designer/drum maker based in Dakar, Senegal thought it was time to add some PIZAZZ to the standard 3 drum set of Djun Djuns.  The drum is softer, curved like a woman’s body, rather than the normal cylindrical shape.  The lines are smooth to the touch and the palm oil finish is soft and satiny.  Headed with authentic African cowskin fur, the Swervy Kurvy Kenkeni comes in three fur colour varieties, black, white or brown.  It is professionally roped and tuned with high quality 8mm/1cm black cord with a long cord handle to play both sides around your neck.
