Sarah incorporates elements of funk and hip-hop styles through choice of music and movement. Some classes are accompanied by live West African drumming to capture the dancer-drummer synergy. She studied with the Kusun Cultural group in Ghana as well as many Melbourne based West African dance specialists. She is founding member of dance troupe Lasso and features as guest performer at many cultural events about Melbourne and beyond.

Description of dance class
- Vibrant and energetic. For the
experienced and/or professional dancer wanting to explore the mechanics and
diversity of West African dance styles. Styles covered are Djembe styles,
Sabar styles, Mbalax styles, Bougarabou, Tukular, Mandinke, Serer styles,
Bambara and Peul or Fula styles.
Private tuition is also available at $60/$50 p/h
