Let's Drum!

Dale provides both private and group instruction on hand drums and percussion specific to the African and Latin American clutures.  After many years of experience and education in Western percussion, Dale discovered the exciting and rewarding world of hand drumming.  Immediately converted, Dale has built a teaching reputation in Central Oregon based upon 25 years of performance and study.
Specializing in Djembe, Ashiko, Conga, and hand percussion, Dale insists on good technique and a development of each individual's inherent rhythms. Furthermore, Dale taps into his Western musical education and college music theory providing students with a deep intellectual awareness of rhythm and music.  If you are interested in becoming a hand drummer who is also a musician, contact Dale for information on group or individual lessons! Additionally, call Dale if you are in Central Oregon and need drum repair, reheading, or are interested in purchasing high quality drums.
