I welcome your bringing hand held recorders to these private sessions to record your personalized lesson. If you choose NOT to sign up for the session and opt to do just the six classes, the cost will be $12 per lesson or a total of $72 for the six classes. NEW SIX-WEEK DRUM COURSE
Six Consecutive Mondays 8pm
Only $50. Drums can be provided.

Wonderful Rhythms. A Really Great Class!
Each course focuses on a particular traditional rhythm. Answering one of my students special requests, we will learn next an interesting Cuban rhythm which I teach very infrequently. This particular rhythm (Arara) was was brought to Cuba by Dahomean Africans during the Colonial Period. It was (and is) associated with the religous ceremonial of  these people and continues to be played in this context in Cuba.

Though "Arara" is a challenging musical genre, the rhythm will be presented in such a way that all will understand. Students of any level may join the class and a conga drum can be provided if you don't have one. Eric's been teaching professionally in Austin and other cities for close to ten years. His classes are both fun and informative; you will be amazed at what you will discover in them.
To learn more about classes, please visit the website and/or call.

Private lessons by appointment.
